BUENOS AIRES, Argentina

March 2009

patagoniaActually, what we learned during and after this protest, was quite a black part of Argentinian history. It was a period of military government from mid 70s to mid 80s, a reign of terror, time of so called Dirty War. Any oposition or criticism of government resulted in violent tortures and death squads. Reportedly some 30.000 people disappeared in this period which ended with the war against Great Britain over Falkland Islands (Malvinas).

The struggle of 30,000 colleagues is still in place!

For a new plan for the country!

For a Socialist Argentina!

... to remember the 30.000 fellow prisoners disappeared. And also to expose and confront the current problems. Although this government did all to prevent the mobilization today, we are thousands and thousands in the streets around the country...

We invite you to share and organize this challenge with us. To fight together against capitalism and against the old politics. For a new country. Argentina by a Socialist.
