ITALY

SARDEGNA

Visiting this Mediterranian island is a bliss in early spring. Mild tempeartures, flowerbeds all aorund you, wind and waves and a leasury feel of everything around you. Curvy roads force you to slow down, so you need to take it easy. Mile after mile, mine after mine, difficult to describe, but so easy to absorb. Extended weekend was way too short. We need to get back soon!

ROME

First we contemplated the idea of visiting all of those few churches in this romantic city, only 900 or something. After visiting St Peter's basilica in Vatican, we headed for a cappuccino (starting at only 4 euros). Having a long and argumented discussion, we decided with tears in our eyes, we have seen it all! Basta. There are some old rocks we have to see as well.

VENICE

Hm, don't have much to say about Venice. Everybody has been there, we have seen it all. Masses of tourists from all over the world still think it's all you must see in Europe (beside Paris and Tuscany).

I guess that is why smart Italians invented capuccino, caffe latte, mochaccino etc.

TUSCANY & UMBRIA

Chianti, Florence, Siena, spectacular landscape and charming small towns. Enough said.
